Sempre il 10 settembre usciranno "THE CLASH HITS BACK", una selezione dei migliori brani dei Clash in 2 CD (disponibile anche in LP e Digital), e "THE CLASH 5 STUDIO-ALBUM SET", che include "The Clash", "GIvE ‘EM ENOUGH ROpE", "London Calling", "Sandinista!" & "Combat Rock" rimasterizzati e inseriti nel packaging originale

Sony Music pubblica The Clash Sound System – tutto il meglio delle registrazioni dei The Clash rimasterizzato e riunito per la prima volta, in uscita il prossimo 10 settembre. Il materiale è “raccolto” all’interno di un ricchissimo “StereoCofanetto” (boombox packaging) disegnato dal bassista Paul Simonon, ed include i 5 album “icona” della band nel loro formato originale (per un totale di 8 CD), rimasterizzati dai The Clash insieme a Tim Young; 3 CD con provini, hit non incluse in album, rarità e b-sides; un DVD con materiale video inedito di Don Letts e Julien Temple, video promozionali originali e materiale live, un manuale di istruzioni, ristampe della fanzine originale della Band, "Armagideon Times", ed una nuova versione delle stessa curata e disegnata da Paul Simonon - e, ancora, merchandise che include adesivi, placche, ed un esclusivo poster della band.

La sequenza dei brani è la stessa del leggendario concerto al Fairdeal di Brixton del 1982 e include le migliori registrazioni da studio della scaletta originale più 8 grandi successi. Include anche la scaletta originale scritta a mano da Joe Strummer, quella che era solito incollare sul monitor prima di ogni concerto. “Ogni concerto era differente. Joe dedicava molto tempo a definire la sequenza dei brani, prendeva in considerazione la dinamicità, l’impatto emotive e la tonalità dei brani.
